Twelve persons were arrested in an anti-corruption investigation into the Medical Faculty at Zagreb University on Wednesday, the Croatian Ministry of the Interior said on Wednesday.
The ministry declined to make public the identity of the suspects who are believed to have been involved in bribery and abuse of office.
The Office for Suppression of Corruption and Organised Crime (USKOK) also declined to give any information.
According to unofficial reports, one of the arrested suspects is an anatomy professor, his two assistants, an employee in the faculty and several undergraduates who reportedly paid to pass the anatomy exam.
