Out of 22 applications for the post of director-general of the national broadcaster HRT, 19 were proclaimed valid by the HRT Programmes Council on Thursday.
The Council will now make appointments for interviews with the 19 candidates and after the interviews it will choose the new HRT head.
Of the 19 candidates who submitted their applications after the second vacancy announcement, 10 are HRT employees, including the acting director-general Josip Popovac.
The previous management led by director-general Vanja Sutlic was relieved of duty in December.
