The 21st edition of the "Animafest", the world festival of animated films, began in Zagreb on Tuesday evening with the screening of the "Illusionist" (L'illusionniste") by Sylvain Chomet in the Europa cinema theatre.
During the festival which ends on 5 June, a total of 69 films in seven programmes will be shown.
This year's jury is presided by Dutch film-maker and animator Paul Driessen.
