The director of the election team of independent candidate Milan Bandic, Dusko Ljustina, said after the appearance of the results of exit polls for Sunday's presidential elections that he would not comment on exit polls and that he would only say that Milan Bandic would be definitely in a run-off.
Ljustina described Bandic as the biggest winner of Sunday's vote.
The commercial TV stations RTL and Nova TV on Sunday evening published theresults of an exit poll on Sunday's presidential vote, showing that presidentialcandidate Ivo Josipovic of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) has won 32.7percent of the vote, independent candidate Bandic has won 14.1 percent andpresidential candidate Andrija Hebrang of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ)12.1 percent of the vote.
Ljustina said that the elections were marked by a low turnout.
"Citizens are fed up with policies of political parties and are turningtowards independent candidates," Ljustina said in the offices of Bandic'selection team.
