Heavy snow that paralysed Zagreb and northwestern Croatia on Monday morning caused traffic delays in the capital and disrupted bus and train services.
Slippery roads and gale-force winds made traffic more difficult along the Adriatic coast and in other parts of Croatia. Some of ferry services were suspended.
Zagreb Airport reported that air traffic was proceeding without major problems.
Early Monday morning two buses collided head-on in the residential district of Blato, with three passengers suffering fractures and 18 sustaining minor injuries. The cause of the bus accident was not immediately known.
