Farmers from the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina on Monday blocked several border crossings between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia and several hundred members of farmers' associations gathered for a protest outside the headquarters of the Federation government in Sarajevo, which has convened for an extraordinary session.

According to police reports and local media, farmers blocked roads leading to the border crossings of Doljani near Metkovic, Kamensko near Livno, Izacic near Bihac and Orasje.

According to information provided by the Bosnian Auto Club, traffic at Doljani and Kamensko is entirely suspended while traffic is heavy at the Izacic and Orasje border crossings.

Farmers from the Bosniak-Croat entity demand that they be paid incentives for the last quarter of 2010, that the protected wheat and milk price be formed and that funds earmarked as food production incentives in 2011 be reallocated.
