A perpetrator, who has still not been identified, threw a glass bottle with inflammable liquid at the Serbian consulate-general in Rijeka early Wednesday morning but the bottle did not catch fire, the local police reported on Wednesday.
According to a police report, the incident happened at 0400 hrs Wednesday.
The police also reported that the perpetrator had tried to set the liquid on fire but failed to do so, and then hurled the bottle at the consular office in Erazma Barcica Street.
An investigation is under way.
