After being defeated in the finals in Marseille, Umag and Beijing, Croatian tennis player Marin Cilic won the first title of the season at the St. Petersburg Open on Sunday by defeating Serbia's Janko Tipsarevic 6:3, 3:6, 6:2.
This was Cilic's sixth title in 12 finals after celebrating in Zagreb and Chennai in 2010 and 2009, and in New Haven in 2008.
