Croat swimmers win gold and bronze at World Championships

Croatia"s Mihovil Spanja won a gold medal and set a new world record in the 400-metre freestyle event at the 2010 International.

Paralympic Committee (IPC) Swimming World Championships in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, on Sunday.

Spanja set the new world record and won the gold after finishing in 4:47.39.

Another Croat swimmer, Kristijan Vincetic, won a bronze medal in the 100-metre butterfly event on Sunday, finishing the race in 1:00.65.
