Croatia is ranked 28th of the world's 100 best countries to live in, according to a study published by the US magazine Newsweek.
The best country to live in is Finland, followed by Switzerland, Sweden and Australia. Croatia is ranked 28th, and its neighbour Slovenia 24th.
The study was based on conditions in five categories: education, health, quality of life, economy and politics.
Croatia scored the best in the categories of education (90.46 of the maximum 100 points) and health.
Seven of the top ten countries are from Europe. Croatia is ranked better than Poland, Slovakia, Estonia and Hungary.
