Croatia's relay team won the silver medal in men's 4x50m freestyle event at the European Short Course Swimming Championship in Istanbul on Sunday, clocking 1:23.18.
"We had reckoned to be capable of contending with the big teams,particularly we had already achieved that last year in Rijeka when we finishedthird. But a second place is even better of course," said Aleksej Puninskiof the Croatian team which also included Duje Draganja, Mario Todorovic andMario Delac.
France won gold (1:22.96) and Italy bronze (1:23.64).
