Damir Polančec was arrested this morning in his Koprivnica home and taken to Zagreb for questioning. The arrest was confirmed by his attorney Ante Nobilo

Polančec's attorney Ante Nobile confirmed for T-Portal the arrest of the former Deputy PM
"He was arrested in his home in Koprivnica. The search warrant claimed abuse of office in violation of article 337, paragraphs 1 and 4 of the criminal code. It is obvious that Polančec is suspected of crimes related to the investigation in Podravka, but it was not precisely stated what he is suspected of," Nobilo told T-Portal.
The Jutarnji List reports that, in addition to Polančec, also arrested was Zagreb attorney Zoran Marković and head of FIMA AMI, registered in Malta. FIMA Vrijednosnice of Varaždin had transferred a 10.6% share in Podravka to FIMA AMI.
