Croatian athlete Sandra Perkovic won the women's discus throw at a Diamond League meeting in New York on Saturday, taking the lead in the overall rankings.
Perkovic won with an opening throw of 61.96m, and in the sixth round she had a throw of 61.59m.
Aretha Thurmond of the USA was second with 61.19m, and Vera Pospisilova of the Czech Republic was third with 60.71m.
With four new points, Perkovic took the lead in the overall rankings in the Discus Throw Diamond Race.
