Dozens of prominent financial experts gathered in Dubrovnik on Wednesday for the two-day 17th international economic conference organised by the Croatian National Bank, to discuss the recent global financial crisis, notably as faced by developing markets such as Croatia, the HNB said.
Among the participants are representatives of the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the European Central Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Bank for International Settlements, the central banks of Hungary, Poland, Romania, Romania, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Korea and Croatia, domestic and foreign banks as well as scholars from New York University's Stern School of Business, the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, Vienna's Wirtschaftsuniversitaet, University of Toronto, Prague's CERGE-EI, the University of Helsinki and Florida International University.
