Economy and Labour Minister Djuro Popijac, who joined the cabinet of Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor as an independent member, on Wednesday became a member of the ruling Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ).
PM Kosor presented Popijac with his HDZ membership card after a meeting of the HDZ parliamentary caucus earlier on Wednesday.
In a brief comment, Popijac said he wanted to contribute, as much as possible, to the implementation of the government's Economic Recovery Programme.
