Two explosions occurred in the north of Kosovska Mitrovica and three in Pristina late on Thursday, media in Pristina and Belgrade reported on Friday.
The first explosion took place at 19:30 hours when a hand grenade was thrown outside a Bosniak-owned cafe in northern Kosovska Mitrovica, shattering the windows. No casualties were reported.
About 23:45 hours, outside the Sasa hotel in the same part of the city, an unidentified explosive device went off damaging a car owned by the hotel's owner and the hotel's furnishings.
Police carried out on-site investigations but could not say who the perpetrators were, what sort of explosive devices were used and what the motive of the attacks could be.
Meanwhile, three nearly simultaneous explosions occurred in three separate locations in Pristina, destroying three government vehicles. Police spokesman Baki Kellani was quoted by Beta news agency as saying that no one was hurt in the blasts.
In the last three months, five Kosovo government vehicles have been blown up in a similar way and the perpetrators have not been identified.
