The Croatian government decided during a conference call on Tuesday to adopt a regulation on the amount of excise tax on cigarettes, fine-cut tobacco and other tobacco, the government's public relations office said in a press release.
In accordance with the need to gradually increase excise taxes on tobacco products and bearing in mind Croatia's obligation to align its excise system with that of European Union, the government regulates the amount of the excise tax on cigarettes.
