The Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) rejects with indignation all media allegations that certain documents have disappeared from the party's records, referring to media speculations that minutes of HDZ presidency sessions led by former President Ivo Sanader have disappeared and that the current HDZ president, Jadranka Kosor, informed the presidency members about that last week.
All those allegations are fabrications. During Ivo Sanader's term as the HDZ president, no minutes were written in the course of party presidency sessions. Therefore it is impossible to take them away or destroy, the HDZ said in a press release on Wednesday.
The party said the practice of keeping minutes of presidency sessions was introduced by Kosor.
