The Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) mayoral candidate for the capital of Zagreb, Margareta Madjeric, on Thursday told the press that she had accepted her nomination as the HDZ mayoral candidate as she was not afraid of challenges.
Madjeric, who sits as an HDZ councillor in the Zagreb City Council, said that she had been given unanimous support from HDZ president Tomislav Karamarko, the party leadership and the HDZ Zagreb branch which was why she had accepted the nomination.
This 35-year-old marketing manager said that she would soon present her platform which would focus on the issue of jobless residents, development of SMEs, water supply system and waste management.
