At the end of June 318,110 job seekers were registered with the Croatian Employment Service (HZZ), or 4.5% fewer than in May, while on the annual level the number of unemployed people rose by 7.9 per cent or 23,233 people, the HZZ said on Wednesday.
June was the fourth month in a row that saw a decline in the number of job seekers on the monthly level, partly due to the seasonality of the Croatian labour market.
In the course of June 33,496 people were removed from the HZZ records, of whom 24,758 had found employment, which was an increase of 14.8% in relation to June 2012.
