President Ivo Josipovic said in Bjelovar on Friday he and Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor were looking for a date to meet.

Responding to questions from the press, he said there was good will to meet on both sides but that both the PM and he worked and travelled a lot.

"We'll find a date. A day sooner or later, it doesn't matter."

Asked if he might meet with Kosor today, Josipovic said he had suggested today but that they could not meet because the PM was away.

Asked about a Vatican lawsuit against a Croatian Justice Ministry decision on the return of the Dajla parish's property to the state, Josipovic said the legal system existed so that disagreements and social conflicts could be solved.

"That's the normal legal way and the story should not be politicised. In the end, the law will say who is right," he said.
