Sea Minister Bozidar Kalmeta said in Split on Monday that Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor was entitled to choose her associates and cabinet ministers.
He was responding to questions from press about Kosor's announcement of changes in the government.
Asked if he would keep his office as minister of the sea, Kalmeta said he could not comment on that.
"The matter is absolutely clear. Prime Minister Kosor is entitled to choose her associates and if she makes a decision to that effect, I'll do what she thinks is best," he added.
