Tomislav Karamarko and Milan Kujundzic will compete in a runoff for the president of the strongest opposition party, the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), according to official reports after all ballots were counted following Sunday's election for the party's leadership.
Karamarko has won 848 votes, Kujundzic 523, Jadranka Kosor 357, Darko Milinovic 169 and Domagoj Milosevic 98 votes.
Drago Prgomet won the most votes for HDZ deputy president, followed by Ante Sanader and Andrej Plenkovic.
