Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor said on Sunday she had no time to comment on statements by Social Democratic Party president Zoran Milanovic, given that the government was doing a lot of work every day.

"Where would I be if every day I made comments on what Milanovic is saying. We are intensively working every day, we have a lot of work and we are preparing for the EU entry," Kosor told reporters asked to comment on Milanovic's statements that the SDP was ready to take over power regardless of when the elections would be held.

"As for the elections, we have to wait for them and until then the government must do its job, which we are doing even today," Kosor said.

Commenting on the DSP party convention in Jezercica, Kosor said that Croatia yesterday celebrated the 20th anniversary of its Armed Forces, saying that this is where the SDP members should have been.

Asked if she continued to oppose the legalisation of soft drugs, Kosor said "there are no hard and soft drugs" and that possessing any drugs was a crime.
