The Prime Minister and president of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), Jadranka Kosor, and Social Democratic Party (SDP) president Zoran Milanovic met in the government headquarters on Wednesday to resume talks on constitutional changes.

Both Kosor and Milanovic said the meeting was good, adding they would resume talking on Thursday.

"This was a good meeting, I believe that it is very good that the SDP president and I are talking, especially about important issues such as the constitutional changes," the PM told reporters after the hour-long meeting.

Milanovic also said the meeting was good and that they would resume the talks on Thursday.

The ruling coalition and the Opposition have agreed almost all constitutional changes. The only outstanding issue is th the voting of Croatian citizens without a permanent place of residence in Croatia.
