Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor said on Wednesday she was sorry that Croatia's consortium, led by Konstruktor, had lost the deal to construct a highway in Montenegro, adding that the government had done all that it could in that case.
"As you may know, we were unable to provide the classic government collateral. We have done all that we could at the political level. I am sorry that the job was lost, but not even one ounce responsibility lies with the government," Kosor said after talks with Croatian Peasant Party leaders held in the Croatian Democratic Union headquarters.
