Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor reiterated in parliament on Wednesday that she had not agreed with Slovenian PM Borut Pahor anything outside the Croatian-Slovenian border arbitration agreement, including Slovenia's access to the high seas.
"We agreed everything that is stated in the arbitration agreement and that was what I discussed with PM Pahor, nothing else, either publicly or secretly, including insinuations that I gave Slovenia access to the high seas. Those are the facts," said Kosor.
She was responding to the question from Istrian Democratic Party MP Damir Kajin whether Pahor was lying or telling the truth when he said in a recent discussion that he had agreed Slovenia's access to the high seas with Croatia.
Kosor said the parliament-ratified arbitration agreement said that Croatian-Slovenian border issues would be resolved by an arbitral court and that all process deadlines would start running upon Croatia's accession to the European Union.
She called on Kajin to read the agreement "without malice and bad intentions" and to trust the PM of Croatia more than the PM of another country.
