Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor told reporters on Saturday that on behalf of the government she would insist on a meeting with President Ivo Josipovic as soon as possible to discuss the appointment of ambassadors.
"The government believes it is very bad that the ambassadors have not yet been appointed, namely that in some countries we don't have ambassadors and I believe that this way a bad message is being sent out," Kosor told reporters after she opened the Garic Hotel in Garesnica, Bjelovar-Bilogora County.
The new hotel, worth HRK 15 million, will employ some 20 people.
PM Kosor reiterated that construction on the Peljesac Bridge in southernmost Croatia would resume next month and that the financial scheme had been completed.
