Croatia's Ivica Kostelic, the overall World Cup leader, won the men's super-G race in Kitzbuehel on Friday, his fifth victory in eight races this month.
The Croat, reigning Olympic silver medallist in slalom and combined, clocked 1min 17.33sec to finish ahead of Austrian Georg Streitberger (+0.23), with Norway's Aksel Lund Svindal, Kostelic's main rival this season, completing the podium (+0.28).
Slalom specialist Kostelic stayed top of the overall World Cup standings. With 100 race points for the victory, Kostelic now holds a 255-point advantage on Aksel Lund Svindal in the overall standings.
