Croatian Labour Party president Dragutin Lesar said on Thursday he would not form a post-election with the opposition coalition Kukuriku under any conditions.
"That's not our problem but theirs. They should agree among themselves. This is their decision," Lesar said in Rijeka.
He recalled that Radimir Cacic, whom he called "the director of the Kukuriku coalition", said the coalition would form a parliamentary majority with the help of national minorities' deputies if they did not have enough seats.
Kukuriku is the unofficial name of a four-party coalition led by the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
Lesar voiced confidence that his party would win an MP in every constituency. "We are the political alternative to two strong blocs, the only alternative," he said, adding that his party "isn't ashamed of representing those who live off their work."
