Osijek-based lawyer Marko Dumancic told reporters on Friday that land forces commander Lt. Gen. Mladen Kruljac, arrested in Zagreb this morning, had hired him but that it remained unknown what he was suspected of by the Office for the Suppression of Corruption and Organised Crime (USKOK).
Dumancic expects Kruljac to be questioned by USKOK's Osijek office today.
He confirmed that Kruljac's Zagreb flat and the land forces' Karlovac office had been searched and that a search was currently under way in Kruljac's house in Slavonski Brod.
