The Mercator-H retail company on Tuesday opened in the northern Croatian Adriatic resort of Rovinj a 9-million-euro shopping centre, the company's biggest investment in Croatia this year, Mercator-H reported.
The mall in Rovinj is Mercator's 21st shopping centre in Croatia.
Mercator-H director Stanislav Brodnjak said the company would open a supermarket in Biograd, northern Dalmatia, and a new central logistic warehouse in Sveta Nedelja near Zagreb in late July.
The shopping centre in Rovinj has an area of 8,000 square metres and will employ 80 people.
