Mikhail Youzhny of Russia on Sunday battled to a 6-2 6-3 win over Lukas Lacko of Slovakia at the Zagreb Indoors men's singles tournament to snatch his 8th ATP title.
The Russian thus became the sixth winner of the Zagreb tournament. Before him the title had been won twice by Marin Cilic of Croatia, Ivan Dodig, Ivan Ljubicic (both Croatians), Ukrainian Sergei Stahovski and Marcos Baghdadis of Cyprus.
The final match, among others, was also attended by Croatian President Ivo Josipovic, Parliament Speaker Boris Sprem and Croatian Olympic Committee President Zlatko Matesa.
