More than 500 reporters, including nearly 150 from abroad, have been accredited to cover the men's and women's World Cup slaloms that begin on Mount Sljeme overlooking Zagreb on Tuesday.
About 20 TV stations from Europe, North America and Asia will air the 8th Snow Queen Trophy events live, while footage, news and features will be broadcast in another 50 countries as well.
More than 300 million people watched the races last year. According to the International Ski Federation (FIS), the 2010 men's slalom on Sljeme was the most watched FIS World Cup live TV broadcast, while the women' slalom was the second in its category, after the race in Semmering, Austria.
