The annual session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly will be held in the southern Adriatic city of Dubrovnik on October 11-14 and it will be the biggest political meeting ever to be held in Croatia given that the event will be attended by more than 800 participants, the head of the Croatian Parliament's Delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Boris Blazekovic, said in Zagreb on Friday.
Talks at the opening of the event will be given by Croatian President Ivo Josipovic, Parliament Speaker Josip Leko and Foreign and European Affairs Minister Vesna Pusic, Blazekovic said, adding that the meeting would also be attended by NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen and NATO Assistant Secretary General for Public Diplomacy Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic.
The security and political meeting in Dubrovnik will focus on security in Southeast Europe, the admission of new member states and NATO's mission.
