Commenting on the call by the association Glas Roditelja za Djecu - GROZD ('Voice of parents for children') to stop "imposing his ideology" and allow parents to chose between two different health education programmes in schools, Education Minister Zeljko Jovanovic said on Sunday that "neither the Church nor association have any business in schools", adding that he had no intention of wasting another second on untruths and misinformation spread by GROZD or on the Church's medieval points of view.

"The association which lies, spreads false information, crashes news conference at which it was not invited and deceives parents, thinking only about material gain and not about the interest of the children deserves nothing but to be ignored," Jovanovic told the media, asked to comment on today's news conference organised by GROZD.

GROZD president Ladislav Ilcic earlier today called on Jovanovic to give up on "imposing his ideology", acknowledge the right to pluralism and allow parents to chose between two different health education programmes in schools.

He said the association would use all democratic means to exercise the constitutional rights so that parents would have a chose whether they wanted sexual education in schools or not.
