The third edition of the Zagreb Noir Festival will be held on June 13-15 and it will bring together representatives of noir style in film, literature, photography, comics and numerous other art and pop-cultural forms.
Audience will be able to enjoy film classics, but also the premieres of the latest blockbusters influenced by the style of noir. The noir festival is also a literary festival, hosting world renowned bestselling authors.
The guest of honor at this year's festival is Eddie Muller who is known for writing books about movies, particularly film noir. He is the founder and president of the Film Noir Foundation, and co-programmer of the San Francisco Noir City film festival. Dubbed "The Czar of Noir" (Emperor of Noir) Muller is considered a noir expert and is called on to write and talk about the film genre, notably on wry commentary tracks for Fox's film noir series of DVDs.
