Leaders of the opposition coalition - Zoran Milanovic of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Radimir Cacic of the Croatian People's Party (HNS), Ivan Jakovcic of the Istrian Democratic party (IDS) and Silvano Hrelja of the Pensioners' Party (HSU) - in the northern Croatian town of Koprivnica on Thursday presented their election platform and candidates for Constituency No. 2.

Milanovic stressed that the Croatian people no longer had faith in the system, institutions and politics. "We want to give back the faith, not because we're politicians, but because of this small, beautiful and amazing countriy which has potential which we must not neglect or destroy," Milanovic said.

He underscored that the economic programme was in the focus of the elections, namely the construction of new power plants, a modern railway track from Rijeka to Koprivnica, infrastructure and new jobs.

Cacic, Jakovcic and Hrelja urged voters to cast their votes for the Opposition coalition.
