Slovenian Prime Minister Borut Pahor said on Thursday that his meeting with Prime Ministers Jadranka Kosor of Croatia and Boris Tadic of Serbia in Ptuj on Friday would be "something special", adding that he expected the meeting to help strengthen mutual trust.
"That meeting will be something special and I'm looking forward to an atmosphere of optimism about the significance of that meeting for the security and prosperity of people," Pahor said at a press conference after a government session.
Earlier on, Pahor's office said in a press release that the Ptuj meeting would be dedicated to preparations for a forthcoming regional conference on the European Union integration of the Western Balkans and the promotion of economic cooperation.
"Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia are now quicker in dealing with their bilateral issues, and our mutual understanding is also important for understanding in the entire region," Pahor said.
