The Belgrade-Pristina dialogue is expected to continue in Brussels on Friday, Radio Television Serbia (RTS) reported on Thursday.
Kosovo's European Integration Minister Vlora Citaku also confirmed earlier today that dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina would resume on Friday.
"European Union High Representative Catherine Ashton has to prepare the report (for the Council of Ministers which is scheduled to convene on 22 April in Luxembourg) by Monday, and she would like both delegations to go through the proposals one more time and see if it is possible to reach an agreement,” said Maja Kocijancic, the spokeswoman for Ashton.
She could not directly confirm if dialogue would resume on Friday, however, she reiterated that the differences between the two sides were really narrow.
Earlier today during her visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ashton said she hoped the negotiations between Belgrade and Pristina would be successfully completed.
The two sides have edged towards a deal on the status of Kosovo's north, including what powers it would wield, through six months of talks mediated by Ashton. But negotiations on Wednesday fell through with both sides accusing each other for the talks failing.
