Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) president Jadranka Kosor would not comment on the results of Sunday's parliamentary election.
"Please let us do our work," Kosor briefly told reporters after a meeting of the HDZ Presidency in Zagreb on Monday.
HDZ vice-president Vladimir Seks said that the Social Democratic Party (SDP) had not congratulated the HDZ on the election victory at the previous election either.
"Do your remember SDP president Zoran Milanovic congratulating the HDZ on the victory in 2007?" Seks replied to reporters when asked why the HDZ had not congratulated the SDP-led Kukuriku coalition on the election victory on Sunday.
