Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic said on Monday that normalisation of relations with Kosovo was not Serbia's objective because of the date for the start of Belgrade's EU entry talks but because it was Serbia's problem and his deputy Aleksandar Vucic said that after concessions the authorities in Belgrade had made, Kosovo authorities were now expected to make some as well.

Dacic and Vucic held separate talks with European Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fuele in Belgrade.

After the talks with Fuele, Dacic said Serbia would continue the Euro-integration process in which it expected progress in dialogue with Kosovo so that it could at the same open its path to receiving a date for the start of the country's EU membership negotiations.

Vucic reiterated Serbia expected concessions from Kosovo.

Earlier today, Fuele held talks with Serbia President Tomislav Nikolic after which he said that whether Serbia was to be given a date in June to start accession negotiations with the EU depended on visible and sustainable progress in normalising relations with Pristina and upholding reforms that the EU expects of Belgrade.
