State Prosecutor Mladen Bajic said on Friday he had still not decided what he would do with his deputy Visnja Loncar, whose husband and son are suspected in a case of corruption at Zagreb's medical school, but added that he would decide next week.
"It's too early for that decision. All I can say is that we are examining all the circumstances and that based on the facts, we will make a decision," Bajic told reporters.
Loncar's husband Bozo and son Hrvoje were arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of buying an exam at the medical school. The son was released while the husband and four other suspects have been placed in one month's custody.
Loncar is one of Bajic's 20 deputies.
