The Football Association of Serbia (NSS) on Thursday announced that the coming world cup qualifier match with Croatia, scheduled to be played in Belgrade on September 6, would be subject to a series of security measures so that the high risk match can go ahead without any incidents.
NSS representatives have conducted several meetings with the police and the BIA intelligence-security agency as well as several private security agencies that will provide security during the match. As was the case in the first match in Zagreb, there won't be any guest supporters at the Belgrade match.
"Respecting the principle of fair play, the opponents and all participants in the game, let's show that we are good hosts and organisers of important matches", NSS representatives said.
