As of midnight on Monday prices of gasoline will go down between 0.29 to 0.32 kuna per litre, while prices of diesel fuels will go down between 0.18 and 0.21 kuna, the Economy Ministry said on Monday, announcing its decision to lower the upper price limits for fuels.
The ministry regulates fuel prices every two weeks and this is the fifth consecutive reduction of gasoline prices and the prices of diesel fuels are to go down for the seventh consecutive two-week period.
The top selling Eurosuper 95 will have the upper price limit of HRK 10.03 kuna per litre, down 0.29 kuna.
The prices of fuels are defined every two weeks in accordance with trends in retail pricing of oil products on the Mediterranean market and the exchange rate of the US dollar, with the increases or decreases not exceeding three percent. Oil companies and petrol stations may change the prices over the next two weeks but may not exceed the set upper limits.
