The out-of-country voting in elections for the new Croatian parliament in Bosnia-Herzegovina is proceeding without problems, minister-advisor in the Croatian Embassy in Sarajevo and election coordinator for Bosnia Mirjana Mikulic has confirmed.

"All 30 polling stations at four locations in Bosnia were opened at 0700 hours and the voting is proceeding without difficulties," Mikulic said.

According to data gathered by elections committees from polling stations in Sarajevo, Mostar, Banja Luka and Tuzla, some 1,200 voters cast their ballots by 1000 hours.

There are 264,000 Croatian citizens in Bosnia and Herzegovina eligible to vote for three deputies in the Croatian parliament.

Mikulic said that although there were no major problems, people who failed to previously register for voting in Bosnia and are registered at other polling stations are experiencing some difficulties.

Croats in Bosnia will also be able to cast their ballots on Sunday.
