The authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina on Wednesday lifted a ban on the import of milk from Croatian dairy companies Dukat and Vindija, imposed after an increased concentration of aflatoxins was detected in some of Dukat and Vindija milk products in late January, the Bosnian media reported citing the head of the Bosnian Veterinary Inspection, Ljubomir Kalaba.

Kalaba said the ban was lifted after Croatia had determined how the milk was contaminated and took measures to secure that only entirely safe milk would make its way to the shelves.

Kaleba, however, said that Bosnia would continue to monitor milk shipments from Croatia.
