International railway traffic between the southern Croatian port of Ploce and the Bosnian capital of Sarajevo was blocked in Capljina in southern Bosnia and Herzegovina on Wednesday by railway workers from the country's Croat-Muslim entity, who staged a protest rally demanding three overdue salaries.
More than a hundred railway workers from Capljina, Mostar and Konjic blockedthe railway track at the Capljina train station, preventing the passage of aninternational train travelling from Sarajevo to Ploce.
The protesters said they would spend the Christmas and New Year holidays onthe railway track and would bring their families along.
