Former workers of the Djakovstina agribusiness on Friday continued the protest they had started on Tuesday outside the entrance to their former company, which has gone into official receivership.
Dissatisfied with yesterday's meeting with Agriculture Minister Petar Cobankovic, held in Zagreb, the workers blocked the entrance to the street on which the protest was held for one hours.
A representative of 350 former workers of the Djakovo-based company, Sanja Katic, said an hour-long road blockade would be held in the morning and in the afternoon until 17 October when protesters would take more severe protest measures.
The laid-off workers insist on their severance packages in the amount of HRK 26 million.
