The president of the Croatian Social Liberal Party (HSLS), Darinko Kosor, said after talks with President Ivo Josipovic on Friday that his party supported completing accession negotiations with the European Union as soon as possible, in which it fully supported the government and the president, but expected the ruling coalition to set a date for parliamentary elections in a matter of days.
"We think elections should be held by the end of the summer, by October 1 at the latest, after the tourist season and after we see if we have managed to complete the negotiations by the end of June," said Kosor.
